The course was really useful and I got a lot out of it. Darren is a very passionate advocate of FME, and has an incredible depth of knowledge. For a beginner there was a lot to process but I would recommend this course and the instructor, and feel that it was very worthwhile.
In addition to the course content Darren showed some side projects that are applicable to the problems our organisation has which really helped expand the knowledge of known issues.

The pace was just right and all the modules covered are appropriate for my requirements. Getting shown other sample applications of the system was really useful.

Content was relevant to what we are trying to achieve. The best part of the course was having access to a FME professional who had real world experience of the product and its implementation beyond the organisation I work for. This exposed the art of the possible and provided knowledge that can be brought out further down the track.
This is an excellent course for getting started. Covers all the basics and even some of the FME Flow admin side.

I loved having a hardcopy Training Manual that i could write my own notes on & the small size of the group was great. I particularly liked seeing examples of real life FME workspaces that resolve real life issues.

The spectrum of where FME can be applied is limitless. Darrens experience was a highlight and the way he showed passion and insight on how FME can be adapted to any situation involving data.
For me this training was about demystifying FME. I’ve seen others use it and knew what a powerful tool it was but I’ve never quite found the time to teach myself.I think the balance of what we studied was spot on. It seemed to cover a fair amount of the FME functionality and I could see how it was applicable to the work I carry out.
I have learned so many tips about FME Flow and FME Form. Darren our trainer is so experienced in FME and he is always happy to share his tips and tricks to us along with practical examples. He answered all the questions we had and also very helpful if any users got stuck.
