Designing Smarter AI Workflows in FME

AI can accelerate your workflows but only if it’s applied deliberately. In this 3-hour interactive morning workshop, you’ll explore how different AI approaches within FME produce different results and how to design workflows that are fit for purpose.

Using a realistic document-processing scenario relevant to organisations across the public and private sectors, you’ll compare three AI strategies inside FME and see how small design decisions significantly impact output quality.

In this session, you will:

Compare one-prompt AI approaches with segmented, task-specific workflows
Use specialised AI models for text, vision, and handwriting
See how data format (binary vs. raster) changes AI performance
Evaluate accuracy, structure, and reliability across different approaches
