Session 1: Introducing FME Flow & Publishing Workflows
- Explore FME Flow’s role in data integration and automation
- Connect to FME Flow and publish workspaces
- Upload and manage data files
- Run jobs, view logs, and share results through Flow Apps, Webhooks, and Projects
Exercise: Publish, run, and share workspaces; manage projects
Session 2: Building Self-Serve Workflows
- Use Flow Services such as Data Upload, Download, and Streaming
- Manage source data, temporary uploads, Resources, and Repositories
- Configure database and web connections
- Design user interfaces with parameters, choice lists, bounding boxes, and feature selectors
- Leverage Deployment Parameters for scalable solutions
Exercise: Create a simple self-serve portal; reuse parameters and create user-controlled workspaces
Session 3: Creating No-Code Web Apps & Automations
- Differentiate Flow Apps from permissions-based sharing
- Create and customize Flow App webpages
- Understand Automations, Triggers, and Actions
- Configure input parameters and webhook URLs
Exercise: Build a Flow App; create and share a basic automation
Session 4: Advanced Automations & Orchestration
- Use Schedules and Directory Triggers to manage workflow execution
- Filter trigger messages and handle incoming emails (SMTP/IMAP)
- Chain jobs using workspace actions and output attributes
- Apply the Automations Writer for complex orchestration
- Implement best practices for monitoring, error handling, and governance
